Few tips you should know before going to be an entrepreneur

Knowledge is more important than the money

They say knowledge is power but its actually applied knowledge that is power. Never start a business with half idea or knowledge of it. When you see boiz going to serve a master for 3-5 years, they know why they are doing so. By the time they are through with their services, they must have had all knowledge and ideas about the business they are going into.
No matter how little the business is, get the basic skills and knowledge to avoid learning in a very hard way. Success of the business lie more on your knowledge of the business not the capital you invested into it.

Do not start a business without a mentor

Having a mentor is another key to surviving in the business world. Many allow their pride overcome them just because they have the capital, they feel that's all they need to be successful. Many start up businesses or companies have folded up not because of lack of capital to fund it but because of lack of knowledge to go about it. Always have a mentor, someone or group of people who have been through it. Those who will know when to put in or withdraw. Imagine having 3 mentors who have already had like 20 years of experience each, this means your organization already has 60 years of experience in just its first year of establishment. It would be hard for such an organization to collapse.

keep away friends and relatives from your business

This is another business killer, bringing friends and family into business. Revealing your business plans to your family is not how to run a business. You don't even tell your wife everything because when too much advice is coming in, there is a big chance of error. Only your co founder's and mentors should know what the problems are and drop their suggestion.

Never expose your weakness or problems

As an entrepreneur, you are bound to face problems, problems both in business and personal life. Most time it will be financial problems but never allow that make you loose focus, it should not make you tell people your problems because they will only laugh at you. This you think can help you will end up mocking you behind. Never ever expose your weakness, it makes you loose value.
