On July 29, 2013, Bilal Berreni, a cartoonist and street artist, known as the Zoo Project, was killed in Detroit at 23 years old.
"Four years after his death, we decided to bring his work to light again, his family, his friends and his collaborators."
In spring 2018 will be organized different events in his tribute.F
He began his career painting in the 20th arrondissement of Paris. It has always sought to preserve its independence and to preserve its work from any commercial approach. In this way, he wanted to retain his freedom of speech, and his way of doing and drawing. The street offered him a vast canvas from which he could address his message to passers-by. He painted in the street, gave his drawings

"To be consistent with Bilal Berreni's approach, and because we agree, all events will be conceived and realized without commercial objectives, in total independence. The exhibitions will be in public space, the film will be self-distributed, books (8000 in all) will not be sold but offered to public libraries and schools, "they explain.
The conduct of the project is partly conditioned by the success of crowdfunding. However, says Antoine page, even in case of failure, "we will manage to realize this homage as we dreamed." May Bilal count on us to honor his memory.
