New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick took off with his girlfriend, Linda Holliday, to an unnamed island for a holiday retreat.
And really, everything about the little we know is absolutely amazing. Here, we see Belichick rocking an "adopt or die" shirt with an amazing coastal view in the background.

That shirt itself could be defined a few different ways. But knowing that Belichick is indeed a history nerd, we're willing to bet it's a reference from the book by retired Lieutenant General Rick Lynch in a piece of work by the same name.
It could also very well be a message to Patriots players following their Super Bowl LII loss to the Philadelphia.
"Adapt or get the heck off my team."
Just ask Malcolm Butler.
But we digress.
If at all possible, there's even more to explain away in this photo. Belichick's (way) better half captioned her IG post "You have bewitched me, body and soul, and I love ... I love ... I love you!”
Yeah, that's from Jane Austin's Pride and Prejudice. Talk about book junkies. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Let's just hope they're not spending their alone time in the bed reading.
On a more serious note, it's great to see Mr. Belichick enjoying time with his girl. This past season must have been a real struggle for him personally.
