Bill Gates once predicted that Bitcoin would be better off in currency, here's the explanation!

Some of the world's leading investors have considered bitcoin madness, with some warnings to avoid it "like an epidemic" and others say it's okay to invest.
As quoted by CNBC, Wednesday (20/12/2017), Microsoft founder Bill Gates has not been too much talk about the problem lately, but he has expressed positive opinion in the past.
"Bitcoin is very interesting because it shows how cheap it is," said billionaire Bill Gates told Bloomberg in 2014.
"Bitcoin is better than currency because you do not have to be physically in the same place and of course, because big deals, currencies can be very inconvenient," he added.
Crypto currency such as bitcoin can be used to buy goods without intermediaries, meaning less need of a bank. Although traditional banking systems may charge high transaction costs, bitcoin allows global transactions to take place at a lower cost.
Just because it's "better than currency" does not mean Crypto currency will replace the old money. In an interview with Backchannel in 2015, Gates asserted that bitcoin technology is a technology that can "make money move between countries easier and get the cost down quite dramatically".
However, he said that bitcoin would not be the dominant system. As he says that we need things that attract the bitcoin revolution, but only a few contain bitcoin.
Currently, bitcoin is already experiencing some problems, including slow transaction time and increased transaction costs.
Other experts agree that bitcoin will not become dominant. It's too volatile to be a reliable currency, the "Shark Tank" star and investor Kevin O'Leary told CNBC Make It: "The fact is this is very unstable-volatility is two-way, everything up and down that no one in a substantive Transaction will take that risk. Thus, this is far from the currency.
"However, is it an asset? Yes, it is one of the most successful assets on the planet right now because it is a global speculation," he added.
The value is also difficult to show, because that is very cautious when investing in crypto. "I do not know the value, and neither is anyone else," O'Leary said.
"Instability makes it very difficult for me as an investor to put it in the portfolio, so for me, this is speculation,"
