Steem Withdrawals Back Up On Binance

Ever since the Syscoin hack on July 4th Steem withdrawals have been unavailable on Binance. I've been checking everyday recently because I've wanted to withdrawal 440 Steem. Today that time has come.

I originally purchased this Steem with the intent on swing trading it. However, Steem hasn't swung up yet and now I want the Steem power instead. Wish me luck as I chug forward to 2000 SP.

Notice the 1.5 cent transaction fee, yet another one of the awesome things about Steem. It should be free but I'll give Binance a break on taxing me less than 2 cents on 440 Steem. Coins sent to my Binance wallet from Steem are free and only take 3 seconds (one block) to post.

The speed at which Steem transactions post should be a good indicator for mainstream adoption. Our blockchain can process payments just as fast as an ATM card can. Public addresses are readable instead of being blocks of 45 random characters. With the impending advent of SMTs a Steem-based payment card could be here sooner than you think.

Let's see what the future holds, if I see Steem improving I might drop my money on it too... 400STEEM is more then my current SP :P

Steem is going to make massive improvements. For me, simply the promise of being able to spend inflation is what keeps me coming back for more SP. Upvotes being worth money is a pretty crazy revolution in itself.

Trust me, in five years Steem will be totally unrecognizable in terms of what it looks like today.

Let's wait and see... I might drop a couple hundred on steem in some months if this whole thing(bots and reward pool) gets better...

Bots are a non-issue and you control more of the reward pool if you have more stake. I certainly see where you are coming from though.

Bots are attacking Steem. They exist because Steem has flaws. This is actually a good thing. Steem needs to be shown where the holes are so they can be plugged.

The reward pool is the same concept. Whales don't have a lot of incentive to act honorably from a short-term gains perspective. Systems will come into place to change that. I'm sure of it. In fact, as a programmer, I'd like to be a part of it.

Steem needs to be shown where the holes are so they can be plugged.

The problem is that we aren't plugging the holes fast enough... at least not IMO... but i'm not a programmer so maybe this is all much more complicated. I wish i could help but can't...

Yeah the passive (or should is say active) income from steem is cool. But if this was the best time quit trading, is assume, sooner or later steem will follow the recent upmove in crypto...

I never tried anything related to crypto due to lack of knowledge but after joining Steemit I learned a lot of things. Thanks to Steemit & you guys for the awesome information.

OMG so great. Thanks for the heads up.

Ahhhh finally...I stopped looking even for it hahaha. Well nice job in powering up then to make it more, never a bad idea!

yeah they are back, but i have already done Binance BTE> Bittrex BTC > Bittrex Steem > steemit steem

By the way, Have you claimed your free 80$ (USD) reward from byteball. These free rewards are for all steemit users. If not then claim them before its is over. Here is the link for more information.
