Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine's Minister of Digital Transformation, stated on April 8 that Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, will introduce a charity crypto card for Ukrainian citizens who have been forced to flee the country and require assistance. According to Bitcoin.com, the minister confirmed the story after speaking with Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao.
Fedorov described the crypto exchange's assistance as "crucial" for Ukrainian citizens forced to flee the country due to Russian invasion. He went on to say more about Binance's current activities in the country:
The minister stated that the exchange is presently working on bitcoin adoption with Ukraine's Minister of Digital Transformation.
Binance also intends to assist more Ukrainians in gaining digital skills and new professional credentials.

He stated that Binance has already made a $10 million offer to Ukraine and that the amount would be increased to $20 million in the coming days. Aside from Binance, Whitebit, a European crypto exchange, has promised support to Ukraine by signing a memorandum of cooperation with the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which it announced on April 6 on its website. Through its representative offices in other countries, the company aims to assist Ukrainian refugees who have been forced to escape the nation due to the current turmoil.
