Multi-Assets Mode enables users to trade USDⓈ-M Futures throughout multiple margin assets. Currently, Binance Futures proposes BUSD-margined and USDT-margined contracts through the USDⓈ-M Futures product line. Amidst the newly launched Multi-Assets Mode, users will distribute their margin across USDT-margined and BUSD-margined contracts. Each profit earned on each contract can be managed as a margin; this implies that one position’s gains can offset losses in different losing positions. Hence, the margin profit only shows the net P&L in positions within the two markets. The aforementioned new feature only supports the Cross Margin Mode.

USDⓈ-margined futures agreements have increased in demand over the past year as all others are simple to use and present adaptability to swap on various markets. Traders on Binance will be able to secure USDT or BUSD to exchange across different futures contracts (i.e., BTC, ETH, DOGE, EOS, STEEM, XRP, etc.) without obtaining their underlying coins.

Though, when trading futures with USDⓈ-margined contracts, you must allocate a meaningful share of your portfolio to USD-pegged durable coins (i.e., USDT or BUSD) to secure that you retain enough collateral to meet their margin specifications.

This produces an inconvenience as users must possess the two varieties of durable assets in their wallets. To resolve this problem, we’ve launched a unique feature to assist users to grow their capital productively. This innovative feature is termed Multi-assets mode.

Meanwhile, users that desire to trade with only a single margin asset (i.e, BUSD only) can pick the Single-Asset Mode. In this case, the margin is distributed across positions in the related margined asset (i.e, BUSD-margined contracts). Gains and losses of positions within the related margin asset can compensate for each other. The Single-Asset Mode boosts both Cross Margin Mode and Isolated Margin Mode.
