I'm standing there in the dark. Effortlessly each ball rises and falls upon the stump in the middle of the circle I've traced in the damp grass with my toe. Each swing feels, well, beautiful. I feel more alive and in the moment than ever.

Fall, 2009, would forever change me.

161006 - It was late summer 2009 ~ the dog days ~ and I was frustrated with my day job ~ which had become a familiar feeling over the past couple of years. But I was going to do something about it this time. 

161006 - It kind of felt like this. Something was going to happen. It was going to be exciting and life-changing regardless of the outcome.
