A Noble beauty - 'is a woodpeckers bird at risk'

in bird •  7 years ago

It describes our tallest woodpeckers about Audubon species and not only because it comes in pink and silver colors. It is a unique beauty after Woodpecker and then Louise's Woodpecker (Melaneeropes Lewis) Louise and Clarke Campaign, in the name of Meriwether Lewis.

It mostly captures worms in the acrobatic flight and flies like a flycatcher from the perch and it is circling in the air like a swallow. Although it offers trees in woodpecker style, they are friends for life too, in these cold months they break nuts and acorns with their bills and deposit them in the cracks in the trees. It is giving wide wings to the wings; it is more boring flying than most of its woodpeckers.
