Osprey

...bringing dinner to the nest!


I've been at a photography show,
the past few days, selling my images.
It's down on the waterfront.

There's a large microwave tower
pointing out to the islands.
AND a massive nest for
a parent and a coupe of juvenile ospreys!

Here, someone was bringing dinner home to the nest.
the show went well; we avoided a massive thunderstorm,
and had a decent showing of customers.

And of course, these visitors in the area, for me to snap!

        Growing up, I remember my uncles catching tons of this fish for dinner.
