These are olive-backed sunbirds.

The adult bird moves quickly at this point so it's a challenge to take a photo. I don't know if the adult bird is a male or female. I don't want to assume. You can see the adult bird on the left side of the photo and it has food in its beak.

I have entered this in some contests as well here in steemit before.

These photo was taken in a tree in one of the trees surrounding the pool in a hot spring resort here in our place. I was resting under this tree when I heard incessant chirping that made me curious as to where it was coming from. I looked up and saw this the adult bird. I did not see the nest right away.

When I did see it, I hurriedly got up and took my camera. I used Nikon D5000 for this.

To know more about this contest, please check @claudiaz's post here: https://steemit.com/contest/@claudiaz/photo-fun-contest-week-20-bird-nest-photography. 5 SBD/Steem is at stake.

I used steepshot for this post because this is the only nest photo that I have for now.

Wish you will be a winner @leeart... Good luck 😊, Iam not join in this week because I have no time to looking for the nest bird lol..

Thanks, @yati. You can take photos of chicken coop 😊 This is the only photo of nest that I have. Good thing i still have this lol!

are you kidding @leeart, chicken coop and nest are different,it is right? 😄

Claudiaz said you can haha!

Yeah, but it's too bad hahaha..

I absolutely love this photo! The motion in it from the bird just blends in. And the baby birds are so cute!

That is a pretty good shot, considering that you must not have had a lot of time to find them. I have taken photos of hummingbirds before with my phone, and that was nearly impossible!

Now that is a challenge I want to do. I have not seen hummingbirds in person. Those sunbirds are the closest to hummingbirds that we have here.

Good luck with the contest!!

I like this 'action' shot! It looks like they are very hungry! :)

Oh they are. They would quickly grab whatever the adult bird would bring them so fast I cannot time it with my cam lol!

Wow, galing ah!!

I nearly missed the mother bird though. The timing is the best.

I almost missed it too when I was taking photos. I have to be quick bexause the chicks would only come out when fed.
