A week ago, I launched a contest for all bird lovers. It was my first contest, I didn't expect a huge attendance, but I was a bit disappointed that there were only two entries. I've met here a lot of people who have a parrot as a pet, have a breeding, etc., but none of them decided to take a part in this contest despite the fact that the chance to win was huge.

But that means good news for both contestants who have taken advantage of this unique opportunity. I'm glad that I found friends like you, who aren't just dead followers :) Steemit needs more people like you!

@pluspower doesn't have a bird as a pet but hasn't been afraid of participating in this contest. In his entry he recalls his childhood when he got two lovebirds from his aunt and the whole family was so excited about them that two birds and a small cage were not enough. Now he's fascinated how clever some birds are so if he'll suppose to get one it'd be a crow because it is such a bird genius for him.

@combofrenzy introduced in his entry his African grey parrot lady with the name Lucy, whose life with previous owners was not happy. Now, it is a cheerful parrot who likes to imitate all kinds of sounds, and if you know Combo, you won't be surprised that these are mainly game sounds.
