The cuckoo is one of the birds on my "hatelist" because I can hear it so often but it is so hard to photograph, not only due to the fact that it is shy but also because probably I often mistake it for a dove and I don't care about it in the right moment. But finally I was able to take some pictures of it in May this year, when it landed on a tree near me and started to sing. When I heard its voice so close to me, I got a shock and started to take several pictures. But I must admit that if the cuckoo didn't start to sing I probably wouldn't take any pictures of it.

Now I have another bird in my collection and my collection is growing :-). But In summer now it is more difficult to find some nice birds because a lot of them only show themselves in the evening and the morning when it is not so hot.
