On my photography trip in Burgenland last weekend I was able to take some pictures of the european stonechat and the whinchat. These are some very nice small birds and I was happy to take some nice pictures of them in Burgenland. The Stonechat was sitting on a wheat ear and flew from one to another. I took my chance to take some pictures of it.

The European Whinchat was near a place where I was looking for the european hopoe but I couldn't find it, maybe it has already left to the south. But at least I am happy that i have these two birds on my list.
