Some pictures of the eurasian Wren that I found in styria

This morning at 5:30, I met with Stefan and Dieter so we could drive to the "Toplitzsee" a lake in Styria for taking some landscape pictures of this beautiful area. There is a very beautiful lake and mountain landscape there, and we took several pictures. Because I also took my 150-600 Sigma Lens with me and Stefan also had his wildlife Lens with him, we also took some pictures of birds that we found there in the forest and at the stream. We really were lucky and were able to take some pictures of the Eurasian wren as well as from the White-throated dipper. I will show you the pictures of the White-throated dipper in a future article here on Hive.

The Eurasian Wren is one of the smallest birds that live here in Austria. It is very cute, and I love how it positions his tail feathers when it is jumping around from branch to branch. It has a very loud noise when singing, and it is actually very difficult to believe that such a strong loud noise comes from a small bird like this. In Austria this bird is called "Zaunkönig" if I try to tranlate it to English it would mean "King of the fence". And It is true it really can be often seen sitting on a fence when singing.
