The first steps to independent living

in birds •  5 years ago

Today there was an important event - the little crows began to eat on their own. So far they are not doing it very well. For example, instead of taking food, they first try to eat a bowl ... But ... if you want to eat, it greatly stimulates intelligence.

Baby crows are already very active. I see no reason to keep them in the room, so I moved them to the "children's" aviary. It is small, consists of two parts - closed and open. They can see other birds and communicate with them, but no one can offend them. In addition, this is important, because in the aviary they will have more movement. It is necessary for the development of the wings and preparation in the flight. At the next stage, they will move to a larger aviary, and then join the crows, who live freely in the yard.

And then they will eventually just fly away?
