Two young doves that arrived about a week ago. As I wrote, I think that these birds were the next victims of the wedding. Why the victims? Unfortunately, people often do not think that they follow a beautiful tradition at the cost of bird life. Often at the wedding the bride and groom release doves into the sky. Often these are birds that were grown and sold specifically for the wedding. Released, they do not know what to do next, because they were raised in captivity and have no idea how to live in nature. These birds are lucky. They flew to the courtyard of caring people who brought them to us. Now they live in an open-air cage with a pair of other doves and mandarin ducks.
