Ducks-perfectionists - #CCC

утки.jpg

I photographed these ducks yesterday. They sailed in the middle of the lake. Before them was about 20-50 meters. At one point, the female duck and drake, were leveled. The female duck began to look like a reflection drake in the water. At first glance at the photo, I do not notice the female. The focus of attention is on drake. It turned out, such a bird perfectionism.

At such a large distance, it's quite difficult to keep the focus. I do not carry a tripod with me, but I see that it needs to be done. Very often, a good moment that got into the lens just goes to waste. The picture is smeared.

I began to like to come home from hunting, and at the same time, do not bring with me the smell of gunpowder. But it is necessary to run a lot of running. No less than on an ordinary hunt.

What's more, I can breathe the fresh air of the forest every morning and feel the freshness of the fog over the lake. I do not know if a kilometer, or a little more, is one lap around the lake, but, he goes to a small piggy bank.

Photohunting, still like the real fact that there are days when there is a lot of booty, but there are days that are ineffective at all. Such a day was today. I took a couple of pictures, just so that I would not go home completely empty.

I noticed that the most interesting begins to happen, at a time when the camera turns off for a rest. It seems that everyone is just waiting for the green sensor to turn off on the camera. And even more, they are waiting for me to hide the camera in my bag.

I now outwitted them all. I deliberately leave the bag in the car and take with me only the camera. So I have less temptations, take a breather and send the camera to the bag.

I upvoted at 100% but it shows up as only $0.02 ...

Many thanks, my friend @freedomshift ! Take care now your voices. Now they are very expensive in time. I gave my friend two votes and they cost about 24% of the bandwidth. They say that in 5 days everything will be fixed.

The photographs are wonderful. Tripods might help, but in the time to set it up, you might have missed the shot.
Are there any carry-along stabilizing gadgets for a more steady shot?

There are a couple of ideas that you might borrow and make one - like the sandbag/beanbag?

I did not hear about sand and beans. I recently started learning to take pictures and still do not know much in this area. I'm still photographing intuitively. Gadgets are great, but, they are more expensive than my camera)) I have a tripod on three legs, but, in combat conditions from him, little use))

Sandbag / Beanbag

Sometimes all you need is to stabilize your kit is something malleable on which to rest your camera and lens. Mechanical devices are not required. This is where beanbags or sandbags come in. The Pod Bean Bag Camera Support even has a ¼"-20 camera mount on its top to secure your gear. Some bags, like the Kinesis Safarisack 1.4 Beanbag Camera Support come with fill, but can be emptied to lighten for storage in your pack or camera bag and filled with anything handy when needed. The Novoflex Bean Bag 8 x 8" ships empty and can be filled with rice, sand, buckwheat, candy, or anything else you can find in the field.

The BallPod is an alternative take on the traditional filled bag.

<<< you can make this - it's taking advantage of the weight to stabilize your hands.

Good idea! Thank you! I'll try to use it.

Imagine "someone with a broken left arm and put on a cast and a shoulder sling - but a soft and flexible one" -> that would be a shoulder-carried stabilizer to make.

You are a great specialist! I studied the resistance of materials, but I did not think about fixing the hinge, or shoulder. I deserve a deuce in the subject))
