Maya - The Former National Bird of the Philippines

The Chestnut munia (Lonchura atricapilla), known as "Maya" or "Maja" in the Philippines. These birds fly in large flocks of hundreds or thousands of birds, and can wreck havoc on rice fields. Here's one hanging out on it's own.
