i don't use a tripod very often but if you use a 500mm lens for a certain distance it does help to get a sharp image :)
Mr Sparrow was sitting on the fence ion the garden while i was playing with the Sigma 150-500mm lens , you do want to use remote trigger and tripod if you zoom in that strong

Thank you JJ , it is a great lens indeed it would work very well on the A6500 since you have in camera stabilization

YEs that is a bonus on the 6500 :) Slowly building up my camera fund so will see when I can get there

i'm building my camera funds to maybe buy a fullframe a7 serie somewhere next year.

That would be great hope it all comes together for you
