These gorgeous Queensland birds are Crimson Rosellas, part of the parrot family. Crimson Rosellas are attracted to seed trays and once familiar with humans they can be hand fed. In the wild their diet consists of insects, blooms from trees, scrubs, grasses and seeds of eucalypts.
Ah...beautiful birds really and their color combination is also great.
