The common redstart (Phoenicurus phoenicurus), Male.
A beautiful songbird. It was the bird of the year in Russia in 2015.

And this is a female. Not as beautiful as a male. I saw these birds near the river. Two males sang songs, and brought the female gifts in the form of insects.

The common whitethroat (Sylvia communis).
I found this bird in the open space near the forest. She deftly jumped on branches in the bushes. She also sang very fast and varied songs. If you look closely, she has something in her beak. She was collecting building material for the nest.
