The coal tit (Periparus ater)

Oh, look at this wonderful miniature tuft! So cute! :)

Due to the fact that Coal Tit looks like a Great Tit, it is necessary to designate its distinctive features:

• Small size. This is one of the smallest titmouses.
• Coloring plumage. Only dark colors, gray, black, and gray-blue on the wings. White abdomen, sometimes it can be slightly-slightly brown.
• A cute mini tuft (crest). And white spot on the back of the head.
• Mask on the muzzle. Did you know, that a long centuries ago in Russia, name of this bird (Maskovka) came from "mask"?

As for this bird, I found her jumping and digging in the foliage. Before that, I could not get close to her. She was frightened and flew away from me. But being on the ground, she completely ignored me. And I enjoyed watching this little plump miracle :)
