The common cuckoo (Cuculus canorus)
You all know this bird. But few people know that it is quite difficult to photograph intentionally. It took me about an hour to lure her out of the tall trees where she was sitting. I drove her about a kilometer to an open area where low trees grow to take a good picture of her. But alas, it did not work out. The cuckoo searched for tall trees anyway to sit down.
In the video you can see how a little bird, namely the warbler, is very concerned about the presence of the cuckoo and flies side by side, flaps her wings. And tries to scare off.
And this is no accident. Insectivorous birds often become victims of cuckoos. Cuckoos lay their eggs in the nests of these birds, and unsuspecting birds then raise not their chicks.
