The common sandpiper (Actitis hypoleucos)

Hiding behind the bushes on the river bank, I managed to lure this little sandpiper. He flew to the sound and sat nearby, and then began to slowly approach.

Then he heard the click of the shutter, and after a couple of seconds he saw me. These are very shy sandpipers, with other species it seems easier to me.
