🔶The Eurasian bullfinch, common bullfinch or bullfinch (Pyrrhula pyrrhula)
I met this couple at the old cemetery. This cemetery is located next to the forest, so it is always full of birds. Moreover, there are many edible plants in this cemetery, which is why birds love this place so much.
In these photos, I wanted to show you the food preferences of bullfinches. Photos 1 and 2 show a female. She is slightly brown in color. And as you can see, she eats berries. To be more precise, bullfinches bite the berry and eat only the seed. Therefore, if you see a lot of berry pulp under the tree, then be aware that there was a bullfinch.
And this is a male. It is bright and red. He preferred to feast on ash-leaved maple (Acer negundo, the box elder, boxelder maple, Manitoba maple or ash-leaved maple) seeds.
