Yesterday was my 22nd birthday and it was probably one of my best birthday's in a while. Last year being 21 was fun because I went to breweries all day, but this year I didn't want to get crazy with friends. Just chill.
So my parents came down to visit for the day, we went to a new brewery for lunch since my friend recommended it, stopped by the record store to get some new music
Got Mac Miller's Best Day Ever album and My Morning Jacket's Circuital album
Both are fantastic
Anyway, after that stopped by a local coffee bar and then toured an apartment I'm looking at living in after I graduate.
So it was a great day to just explore the city and not have to stay out all night. We came back and I unboxed my receiver, (previous post) and got that all hooked up. No birthday cake but instead had bundtinis which are small bundt cakes shaped like cupcakes.
So they left after all that since it's a 2.5 hour drive back home and it was already 6 at night. My roommates and I just chilled in the living room enjoying the new audio setup, played Super Smash Bros Ultimate on the Switch and that was it.
A relaxing birthday where I had fun during the day and could just relax at night. Definitely feeling older now since I don't want to party as much haha but that's fine. I enjoy feeling productive more.
