🎂 Happy birthday to me 🎂🎁

Year by year passes by and birthdays seem to matter every time a little bit less than they did the year before.
Maybe it's part of growing up, maybe we're too caught up between work and responsibilities, that we don't find the time to think about it and acknowledge it.
I mean, I can still remember when I was a kid, I couldn't fall asleep a day before because I was too excited. I haven't had that feeling in quite a while...

So this year I've asked myself why not get excited again? Why not celebrate myself? Why not indeed?

Looking back over the past year, it's been actually pretty awesome. Sure, there were ups and downs, but I'm a positive person and like to remember the ups rather the downs.
Just to name a few: I've got married, visited Seychelles, Cuba and Paris, enjoy what I do for work and most important I am surrounded by friends and family.
I mean literally while writing this blog, I've lost count of how often I got interrupted by people calling or writing to wish me a happy birthday.

With all this positive energy around me, I feel very grateful.
So tonight while meeting some friends for burgers and cocktails, I'm going to take my time to appreciate it and celebrate myself.
