Business Intelligence Steemit Weekly Contest #5 & Winner #4

Week 4 Business Intelligence Contest is over and we are now beginning week 5.  All the rules remain the same, however I believe that some of you are forgetting to comply with all of the rules.  Especially rule 5

So just to remind you of the rules

1. The post must use and analyse Steemit data, however it can be mashed up with data from other sources.  

2. The post must also provide insights as to the past, present or future performance of Steemit, Steemit users or Steemit features.

Winner #4

The winning post this week is Overview of Vote distribution on Posts till Payout - Part 2 Daily and Hourly Charts by @dbdecoy.  This is the first study I have seen where the actual timings of votes on posts are studied.

Contest #5

This weeks Contest is now on.  All entries must be in my midnight on Saturday 14Th October and they must follow the rules above.

I have seen some names posting in the #bisteemit tag that haven’t entered these contests.

@abh12345 has carried out analysis on curation rewards that are of interest to read

@eroche is producing a report on steemit meetups

@miniature-tiger is analysing voting bots

@raised2b did an awesome report on the locations of nodes

Please do visit these authors and encourage them to continue analysing the data.
