The last exchanges will soon close : China

in bitcoin •  7 years ago  (edited)

After the ICO ban in China, Bitcoin trading has been suspended. BTCChina, the largest bitcoin exchange in China, and formerly second largest in the world, is about to close.

In an announcement made to its customers on October 23, China's largest bitcoin trading platform BTCChina confirmed that withdrawals and transactions will be completed by October 30.

It was explained that, as of October 25, withdrawal fees would be multiplied by 3, in order to push customers to withdraw their assets as soon as possible. After the 30th, therefore, the platform that was part of the giants will put the key under the door, and complete all its activities. The other major exchanges in China, OKCoin and Huobi, have also announced the closure of their trading markets based on the Chinese yuan.
