    Yep.... uncle sam wants everything.

    I wonder how the IRS is going to "audit" the millions of users who've definitely made taxable earnings from cryptocurrencies. Getting Coinbase to fork over user information is a start, but the audit trail is intense. Who knows, maybe they'll have a crypto tax division.

      up to 60% sounds harsh to me. I wish everyone good luck paying these fees retroactive. Does anyone know how income on steemit ist handled? I mean there should be taxes on it too, right? Would be interesting to know how this is handled germany (where I have to pay my taxes).
