- The bitcoin trading company, Binance, offers fantastic rewards for people who can provide useful information to throw a hacker into jail.
The amount of the prize is 250,000 US dollars or equivalent to Rp 3.4 billion. But this prize only applies to the first person who successfully provided the information.
The funds provided by Binance are not limited to the prize alone. The company also claimed to have allocated a reserve fund worth 10 million US dollars or equivalent to Rp 137 billion as a hacking hunt competition in the future.
As quoted Kompas.com from Bloomberg, Monday (12/3/2018), Binance even took other bitcoin trading companies to participate mengeluarkah prizes in the hunt for hackers.
- "We welcome their participation, as protecting your funds has always been our top priority,"
it said in their official statement.
Earlier last week, Binance was the target of hacker attacks. The attack, and the claim that Binance has been hacked hackers or hackers.
The claim, plus a number of other situations, instantly made the bitcoin exchange rate drop sharply, from 10,600 dollars to 9,400 US dollars.
Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao later issued a statement that the hacking attempt failed, so there was no problem. In effect, the exchange rate of bitcoin then again strengthened to 10,000 US dollars.
