    The same way that any currency has value. The value of a currency is determined by those who spend it. When two people decide to use a means of payment and other people want to use that same payment mode, then the early adopters Decide to hold their currency till someone gives it a bigger value for his money. So we all determine the value of a currency through bidding and asking. Simple trading is the price determinant
