Dalio actually made a statement similar to this months ago and garnered serious backlash. Emphasizing that Bitcoin can be a value saving tool, Dalio also underlined that the leading #cryptocurrency is an asset that governments do not like. Expressing clearly that Bitcoin can be banned, Dalio, one of the richest in the world, has now announced the possible scenario for this.

The famous fund manager stressed that governments do not like the transition of capital from self-controlled assets such as fiat currencies to value-oriented assets such as Bitcoin and #gold. Indeed, when we look at the history of the #USA, it is seen that even individual investors were prohibited from owning gold for a period and gold was collected.

↪️The Whole World Is Talking About The Switch To Bitcoin
Dalio stated that no such method will be used for Bitcoin this time around. However, the post published by Dalio states that this can be accomplished with an incredible tax burden. Stating that if history repeats itself, there may be serious taxation and obstacles to assets such as Bitcoin and gold, Dalio emphasized that #fiat #money is garbage.

The scenario that Dalio put forward actually started taking place very recently. India, one of the world's leading economies, took action to ban cryptocurrencies completely. The adoption of the draft law drafted in India could even lead to jail sentences for cryptocurrency investors. BTC price also experienced a serious drop with this news.

In addition, #China passed a law banning cryptocurrency trading years ago. Although similar steps have been taken all over the world recently, a clear attitude has not been formed in the USA and European countries, which are decisive in technology. Although different regulations are established in some states of the USA, it is estimated that a law covering the whole country will be created in late 2021.
