#Craig #Wright, who stated that he was #Satoshi #Nakamoto himself for a long time and wrote the white paper on which #Bitcoin's technical infrastructure was written, was sued. A crypto patent consortium named #COPA requested the #British #Supreme #Court to issue a ruling stating that the White paper is not owned by #Wright.

🚨First they asked for proof🚨
The Crypto Open Patent Association (COPA), founded by #Square firm, known for its investments in the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency industry, actually took action after Wright sent a warning to Bitcoin.org and Bitcoincore.org to remove the white paper from their site. The consortium had requested proof from Wright that he owned the Bitcoin white paper.

Wright's constant demand for copyright on the white paper and court threats by engaging his lawyers drew great reaction from the entire cryptocurrency universe and even some US Congress members.

↘️Now they sued
The COPA has now taken the evidence move that Wright has requested, a step further and asked him to show them in court. The patent consortium filed a lawsuit yesterday, demanding the Supreme Justice Business and Property Courts of England and Wales to declare that Wright does not have the rights of the white paper.

Wright has stated in the past that Nakamoto also had access to their wallets before, but was unable to do so because he now lost keywords.

The Bitcoincore.org white paper, for which Wright sent a warning, was removed from its site and the industry was protested for 'surrendering to Wright.
