Bitcoin Halv(en)ing less than 100 days away! Price guess contest.

So, I'm stoked for this. I think the hype and inflation change will bring wonderful things to the crypto ecosystem. Well, at least for those chains that can scale. The other chains are going to get a nice bump before shit starts breaking, but that's an aside to this post.

The countdown clock is now showing under 100 days. I see targets between May 5-12 online. So, the final date is still up in air. The hashpower of the network determines the blocktimes and then the system adjusts. As the hashpower speeds up, which is what it's doing right now, we're seeing the halv(en)ing date move forward (sooner) in time.

So, I'm curious what you guys think the prices of bitcoin and steem will be on the day it halves.

BTC under or over 10k?
Steem under or over $1?

Anyway, let's do a small contest

100 steem (max $100) to the person that guesses the closing price of bitcoin on the day that halves.
100 steem (max $100) to the person that guesses the closing price of steem on the day that bitcoin halves.

Price is Right rules are in effect. So, you have to guess that is the closest to the price and ever so slightly below it (use at least 2 decimal points for the steem price). Tell us why you think that price.

Ties split the purse.

Someone will have to remind me of this when it halves. Also guesses are only valid while this post remains unpaid. Guesses after that timeframe will be ignored.
