In my 'day job' as a homeopath, I invoice all my patients using PayPal. It's easy, it's convenient, it allows them to pay me in their own currency (I treat people from many different countries).
It's also quite expensive! I pay a transaction fee (9 or 10% I think), then there's a further cost when I convert from $ to £ for example before finally transferring to my bank account. Is there a crypto-equivalent to PayPal... that will issue invoices, allow the patient to pay in their native currency, then automatically convert to BTC, that has much lower transaction costs? Does this product exist yet?... so the crypto-side would be invisible for the customer, they just pay in their local currency?
You should check out BitPay. My understanding is that they do something similar to what you are looking for. https://bitpay.com/tour

BitPay appears to be a service for invoicing in bitcoins. I don't want to add this complexity to the customers, I want them to be able to pay in local fiat currency.
