Bitcoin has been in the news for its price hike and hard fork what is the future of Bitcoin and cryptocurrecies as a whole. So this got me thinking to do a little run down of what's going on.The Bitcoin hard fork has been in the news for a little over a week. If you haven't heard Bitcoin was forked along with its entire blockchain up to that point into Bitcoin Cash (or Bitcash) with the first Bitcoin Cash blockchain being mined and traded on few markets. The update was for one of many of the issues the blockchain. As Bitcoin was so used and so regconized, each transaction became so slow and expesive at times fees was as low as $10 and went all the in to the hundreds of dollars. As far as time it could take hours or even days. The fork means if you had Bitcoin you also had Bitcoin Cash (if held your bitcoin in coinbase or other U.S based wallets you might not have Bitcoin Cash). With the market of over $65bn this could be the turning point for cryptocurrencies especially with government eyes narrowing down on the idea of taxing cryptocurrencies. In the U.S were tax laws can be harsh we can see a shift in the near future on the freedom of cryptocurrencies.
