As a result, fork that occurred in BTC create a new product, called BCH. But actually, this is not a new product that is completely new, because those who have BTC when fork happens, BCH value will remain the same. Simply put, this is a duplication just the same as BTC.
Actually, there are so many cryptocurrency numbers, not just BTC and BCH, the numbers can even be up to thousands. Well, BCH is just a modification of the existing cryptocurrency.
But today, unlike the BTC has been widely traded, BCH is still not much transacted. Liquidity is considered small and difficult to trade. But over time, BCH is now a lot of people who know and used as a means of investment.
Just like BTC and other cryptocurrencies, no one knows where to move this virtual currency.
