Circle Invest: New Cryptocurrency Mobile App Beta Released

New reports reveal that the beta version of a new cryptocurrency mobile application called Circle Invest has been released. According to the reports, considering the user interface and other features of the new app, it is believe that Circle Invest is developed to be a competitor to Coinbase. Circle, the company behind the app started operation in 2013. It was founded Sean Neville and Jeremy Allaire. The company is popular when it come to bitcoin an it has reportedly received venture capital investment of about US$136 million from major drivers including Goldman Sachs and IDG Capital Partners.

Meanwhile this is not the first time the company has ventured into selling cryptocurrencies via mobile apps, as it sold BTC to it users via android and iOS apps at its inception but the service was discontinued in 2016. However, Circle made a public announcement at the fall of last year stating that it is prepping the launch of a new service that would allow users to trade in multiple cryptocurrencies with custodial accounts, liquidity, and no commission. The company also stated in the announcement that the crypto currencies supported by the app will be Ethereum, Bitcoin cash,Bitcoin core, Ripple, and Litecoin, but Ripple is not supported by the beta version 1.0.0 of the app. The company is yet to release any statement with regards to whether ripple will be supported or not. The android version of the beta release is yet to be released but the iOS version is available for interested fans.
