Not long ago there was an issue that some people would do hardfork to support Segwit2x. For more information please read at http://b2x-segwit.io. We can not confirm that this information is true and hardfork will actually happen in the future. But to ensure the security of our customers' funds will still do a balance snapshot for preparation if B2X hardfork really succeeded.
According to hardfork information Segwit2x planned to be implemented on December 28, 2017, precisely when the block Bitcoin number 501.451 issued in Blockchain network. We will do a proper balance snapshot when the Bitcoin block number 501.451 is issued according to the time listed on blockchain.info.
Related to this segwit2x hardfork we will do wallet closing for hardfork preparation, approximate 3 hours before hardfork and 3 hours after hardfork happened. In this period you can not make a deposit or withdraw Bitcoin. Wallet closing time can be extended if required, given the stability conditions in both Blockchain, we will make an announcement if there is a change in the future.
If Segwit2x hardfork is properly implemented and there is a wallet that we consider stable and secure, then we will support B2X withdrawal in the future. Announcement of withdrawals, deposits and market B2X will be announced later in the day after we get more accurate information.
Note: Please note that we do not guarantee B2X will actually exist and are distributed at a 1: 1 ratio. The above scenarios and schedules can still change depending on the developmental conditions of the harditk process Bitcoin and Bitcoin2x itself
After hardfork, the name Bitcoin (BTC) will still refer to Bitcoin before hardfork with a block size of 1mb while the new hardfork asset will be named Bitcoin2x (B2X) with a block size of 4mb.
The deposit and withdrawal functions of digital assets other than Bitcoin run as usual. And the Bitcoin buying and selling function goes as usual.
