In the beginning their was one...

It's true when they say..."you'll feel it in your gut when you've found your calling". The following is a public diary of one man, following his heart, To build an empire in the cryptoverse. A place where at the time of writing, I'm confident that most of the people involved currently, are chasing FIAT profits.. and don't fully understand the way the blockchain technology is going to change the world we live in. I wasn't sure where the best place to start writing this would be, but I am so invested in the crypto life that I decided "what Better place to start than Steemit!". So here I am, and I apologize in advance for my damn awful grammar.

Where do I even begin? The very VERY beginning? No... Not enough time for that in my first Steemit post. Let's start in the present time. As I write this on my Samsung Galaxy note 5... I am surrounded by my lovely fiance Jessica, and my 2 lovely daughter's Izabella, and Lillian ages 6 and 8 months old. I have been following Bitcoin lightly here and there since 09, having only done some light research on it when I had first heard of it. One of the first things that struck me as fishy, was the fact that the creator of the tech was completely anonymous. I am not a coder and had little idea of what I was looking at on the open source file. At the time BTC was less than a dollar, I thought this whole thing was gonna be some sort of elaborate credit card scam or worse. So I didn't really dig any further into it. Some time goes by and it exceeds $100, then $200 etc. I forget about it, but it remains in my orbit via news feeds and the magic of cookies and the fact that my metadata is always for sale.

Last year a friend of mine, who as far as I know, hadn't mentioned Bitcoin before, says to me casually "hey did you see Bitcoin is at $1600?" That right there, was a small spark that reignited the flame of interest in BTC. Few months later BTC is at record highs yet again. So in-between that time I had heard of dash,ethereum, litecoin, and a few others. Well few weeks ago I really really start to dig into this, I had no idea that their where over 1000 different crypto coins and tokens, I was in shock. At that time, majority of people have at the very least heard of Bitcoin But none of them know what the other ones do, and think this whole this is like the tulip bulb bubble or the dotcom bubble. They are definitely correct when they say that alot of these coins will fail, but they fail to understand that not all of them are trying to be the "new dollar". The masses who think they know what Bitcoin is, mostly don't understand what the block chain is, or how it works, or why it's so important.

As my research progressed, my Google ads started throwing Bitcoin related ads at me. "401k roll overs into BTC". I was alarmed that someone out there was that confident in this technology, that they would offer something like that and potentially ruin someone else's life savings. "Not me" i said to myself. ICOs? I should probably stay away from those. Couple days later I have a couple ICOs on my radar. Few days after that I'm calling my HR department to see how to get my 401k. Because well, I'm now that confident that I can turn that money into a business around this crypto life. Not to mention that I played around with a hundred bucks on the exchange which I turned into $120 in less than 30 mins.

So, this is why I write this..I feel like no one in my immediate circle is comprehending the significance of this. I feel like how some of the silicon valley Giants must of felt when they where building computers for the average everyday person. I'm sure not to many people at the time believed in, or even understood what they where doing. I'm here, I'm one of those nerds, and I AM going to be one of the people who survives the aftermath of the crypto emergnce. I feel it in my gut, I feel it in my entire being that all of the things that I've always been very good at, have finally come together for something that I will be great at! Even if I am the only one who believes in myself Currently. I'm done trying to recruit my friends to help me... I will do this on my own and if I'm lucky I'll get some show of support from the Steemit community!
