PSA: Be very careful with Bitcoin Cash Electrum Clone "Electron Wallet"

Electrum highlighted earlier today the security problems with the forked BCH Electrum wallet called Electron.

Later they released as statement:

...The person who distributes the Electron Cash binaries has decided to
remain anonymous, and uses the fake name "Jonald Fyookball" in order
to sign Electron Cash binaries. Thus, if these binaries contain code
that is designed to steal your bitcoins, the author of the theft will
be anonymous and walk away safely with your funds...

Contingency Plan

If you're an Electrum user, here's how to do it

• Wait until Bitcoin Cash Forked - give it some blocks at least.
• Move your Bitcoin to an new Electrum Wallet

2nd PC - no Electrum installed (best option)

• Download and Install: http://www.electroncash.org/
• Import your old Electrum Seed Words to claim BCH
