Recent ransomware cyber attacks around the world have infected thousands of computers and blocked access to important files. Hackers are demanding a minimum of $ 300 from those who have their computers blocked.

To remain anonymous these transactions will have to be done in bitcoin. For those who do not know, Bitcoin is a new form of currency that was created in 2009 by an unknown person using the alias Satoshi Nakamoto. It is not printed as regular banknotes because it is a digital coin, created and maintained electronically.

The BBC recently reported that a single unit of bitcoin now costs more compared to one ounce of gold. Since the bitcoin currency is not controlled by the government or any other authority, governments around the world have declared it illegal or have not yet given it legal status.

This incident has provoked a new controversy and according to instructions from the State Bank of Pakistan all commercial banks have advised customers not to deal in bitcoin.

Security experts believe that rescue is not the main target of recent cyber attacks. Intelligence agencies around the world can track bitcoin addresses before they can change them. However, hackers really want to build their reputation in order to get more business.

This is a poorly researched article.

  1. Bitcoin is NOT anonymous.
  2. It's more "crypto enthusiasts are criminals" propaganda.
  3. There's not actually any news here.
  4. Why choose bitcoin and onecoin. One is the OG crypto. The other is a notorious scam and not even a crypto.
  5. Fucking Fud
