BitFinex Reopens Registrations! Join ASAP!

Do not trust Shitfinex with your money - they have a huge list of past controversies and I've personally witnessed their chief strategy officer drunkenly ramble about how they trade against their customers and manipulate orders.

I'm really kinda pissed that you would resteem this terrible advice with your referral code from the minnowsupport account @kingscrown . Your resteem permissions have been revoked.

none exchange you can trust, but if you want to trade you have too.
this is not a review or suggestion about BFX, its an information for people who want to make account there and couldnt before

My new goal in life is to get to 77 rep so I can flag shit like this all day long and for it to count. Shilly shit shouldn't get self-voted to the front for thousands of dollars a pop. There's no way he can't know Bitfinex is finessing people this late in the game with all the info out there.

If you had a 89 rep, and lesser SP than his, his rep would still rise due to his self upvote exceeding your downvote.
Also, even users with negative reps can have their posts fully visible if they are net upvoted.

Hey @charitybot, what does GOX'd mean?

Mt. Gox, my friend. Except that was a .1 on the richter scale and this is going to be over a 10.

Which exchanges do you recommend?
Only blocktrades let me register, and later let me log in too, but when I tried to use it from within my wallet here I got an error message.
Do you use decentralized exchanges?
I hope so much that there is more than bitshares in this category.
Which ones of them deal with Steem?

I'm struggling to recommend any of them at the moment - I've been using Blocktrades and Bittrex mostly. I was using bitshares but liquidity is a problem. Afaik bts is the only decentralized exchange dealing with Steem so far :(

Binance?

I've trusted binance lately but you never know these days. One of the reasons I trust them is cause they want to implement a decentralized exchange in the near future.

What about hitBTC exchange? I ask because I saw SBD over 15$ last few days. Some say they are scam and some they had no problem with them. Not with SBD, in general.

i've been with hitbtc for over 2 years so defo not a scam
they do have a fair amount of tech issues withdraws getting stuck and etc but it recently got a lot better since they installed a system health tab where u can check ave transfer times and network issues

I heard people coudn't withdraw their money for many months and that fees are high. Did you try SBD trading and withdrwal from hitBTC?

fees are the lowest ive came across 0.1%
sbd and steem have been suspended for a while now
and its bull about people not being able to withdraw as i said there where a lot of tech issues over new year there is a big difference between a glitch and a scam

learning. will look into blocktrades as i feel its easier to manipulate and fast. thanks for supporting me and i mentioned you in my milestone post of today . hope you dont mind. thank you sir @ausbitbank

Bittrex and BTS.

the ones with steem and sbd i personally use
hitbtc
bittrex
poloniex

Just buy the coin in bitfinex, put it in a razor or ledger and hodl, the cryptomarket is heavily unregulated so of course there are exchanges scamming their clients, but no exchange can scam their clients if they are just hodling the coins inside a wallet.
I use binance, i trust in binance, but my coins are kept safe inside a wallet, hodling until 2020 or until i die xD what do u think about binance BTW?

Great advice! Make sure you own your own keys and just use exchanges for making trades and holding short term trading positions. Everything else, move into hardware wallets.

Agreed..!

I will never ever use Bitfinex after reading about the USDT shit, very very sketchy organisation, in my opinion.
