The Coinbase poll last year was heavily botted. We can likely expect the same here. But if this post gets significant traction we could still get a decent amount of votes in for Steem.

Unfortunately I think STEEMIANS actually want STEEM to stay exclusively on STEEMIT and I don't know if I agree or disagree. On one hand being exclusive to this network of bloggers and soon vloggers has its perks and will hopefully bring in many more users as people strive to monetize free speech and have an outlet for information and expression. Moving it into the Bitcoin/Etherium realm may make prices rise or it could be a flash in the pan that makes us feel defeated. I think the best thing to do is to gain features like "YouTube" type videos. Then we will need an Android, Android TV, iOS app, Roku app, AppleTV app perhaps, prob not to stream video onto the television. If this one feature can be added I think STEEMIT will be THE digital money and I mean by a huge margin. Give the people what they want and polls won't be more than joke-fodder.

I think it is upon STEEMIT users to push STEEM into the larger market. I think we can sell both the sizzle and the steak. The sizzle is the social media and the steak is the Blockchain cryptocurrency and encryption.
