Bitcoin's "flash crash" below $4,000 (actually just a dip ofc, but people freak out always!)

in bitcoin •  7 years ago

Bitcoin had a flash crash from $4,400 within a couple of hours hitting below $4,000. After recording the video, Bitcoin fell into the $3,800s but it was just a normal dip. There are whales that make a BUNCH of money from quickly turning around 5-10% and not caring too much about it. Lot of money to be made riding the dips of Bitcoin! Anyways, we also talk about the top altcoin losers/gainers which you can easily find on coinmarketcap

Really it wasn't a crash, rather a quick dip but hey.. people will always be quick to freak out. What do you guys think BTC will stop at?

buy on the lows sell on the highs, with the crazy fluctuations the potencial to make money or lose money is insane... Stock market is for children...

UPvoted and resteemed...

I agree, not really a crash, just a small dip. For a trader a nice chance to sell high and buy back in. I am considering taking some profits and looking for a small pullback, i'll see what the rest of today brings.

thanks for sharing@alvilsd

Hope it helped :)

Remember the price of BTC is going to continue trending upward. Buying the dips might not be recommended by financial "professionals", but it has certainly worked for me!

:)

stocks can be just as crazy and cause just as much heartburn. If you believe in the the cryptocurrencies, then just hold and enjoy life (don't worry about the day to day price).

Long hold will (generally) always make you money

I would not consider anything a flash cash unless it actually crashes big within seconds or maybe a few minutes. Otherwise I would classify it as simply people taking profits - my two cents.

if one person or a group of people with a large share all sell and the price does drop alot in 5 minutes would you consider buying then as whales have unloaded?

Yes! But only if your target is a long term hold/play. Today's panic selling was an excellent opportunity to add BTC or other coins at SALE prices. Can't beat that. Cheers.

Good information on many Coins. Thank you! What do you think of Catcoin with this crazy daily volume now? ;)

Not looked into catcoin will take a look and let you know :)
