Bitcoin Hard Fork Recap - Bitcoin Cash goes to the moon on bittrex market - credited bitcoin cash on bittrex

Last night I stayed up late to make sure I had bitcoin in my bittrex for when they took the snap shot. After the snapshot was supposedly taken nothing happened, so I thought it didn't work. So I buy some alt coin that I knew would rise and read the bittrex annoucement on the hard fork one more time to make sure I got the time right.

If you have a Bitcoin (BTC) balance on Bittrex during the BCC UAHF time on August 1st, 5:20am PT (12:20pm UTC), you will be additionally credited the equivalent amount of Bitcoin Cash (BCC) on a 1:1 basis. i.e. 1 BTC on Bittrex held during the on-exchange snapshot will get you 1 BCC. I waited until 2 am for my account to be credited and then went to bed dissapointed.

I woke up this morning to my bittrex account being credited Bitcoin Cash equal to the bitcoin I had. Very happy and excited. So my bitcoin grew by 10% after the bitcoin cash I received and all my altcoin went up by about 10-20% too/

Wow bitcoin cash mooned to a very high volume and price after opening up on bittrex. Wish I was awake when markets opened, it has approximately raised from .003 BTC to .100 BTC, which is about a 3000% rise. If I had just invested half a bitcoin at .003 I would have about 14 BTC now :( Now it has slightly corrected but I feel it will continue to rise in price.

My decision is to hodl longer, I feel all alts will rise since many people are now reinvesting in them now that the world is still here after the intense hardfork that we survived.

Pretty happy! The hype was intense, but the reality was pretty chill!
