Her passing and Cooper's likely have not done wonders for you.
The Cooper passing still bugs me, I know it is weird. I did not even know him.
I think it is partly because I used a lot of Cooper hockey equipment as a kid, and partly because you do a nice job of bringing your furry people to real light thru your writing.

It's been a bumpy couple of weeks, for sure, but L's passing is having ripple effects. That's going to be the case as I deal with her mother every weekday. It'll just take some time for everyone to adjust.
Now I get the Cooper connection. I wondered... Just so you know, Cooper had a good long life. He was a senior and from what I can tell, he went quickly and painlessly - at home. In my view, that's the best case scenario for any dog.
