Hopefully the last few days have served as a wake up call for everyone who viewed the Bcash fork as free money. The fork in the currency is causing a direct cannibalization of BTC's value and preventing it from easily being above $5k right now otherwise.
I have long been an advocate for BTC but I have to be honest..... the tweaks baked into the Bcash code like the emergency difficulty adjustment, make it difficult to overlook. We currently have two coins that are literally designed to compete with each other to the death. The outcome is an erosion of total value and poor branding.
